Lovely country oak longcase clock by John Boot (Senior) of Sutton In Ashfield.
Lovely colour and patination.
Original "H" brass hinges to the door.
Ringed turned dummy winding holes to the dial.
These antique clocks were made by a family of clockmakers who worked in Sutton In Ashfield during the 18th century.
John Boot Senior 1750.
John Boot Junior 1770,and the daughter Elizabeth in the late 1700's.
