Lovely Oak case with mahogany cross banding brass face with 30 hour movement which is original to the face, not a later marriage. I have seen an identical movement and face by this maker, no doubt if you ordered a 30 hour movement with a brass face you had to have an 8 day face with the winding holes blanked off. Also has a calender wheel. This lock has just been serviced by myself and the case re polished a working order. The antique clock was made around 1770. The Burtons were a well known family of clock makers in the area and is in perfect.
