A quality drop dial fusee wall antique clock. A mahogany case with fan side carvings. A cast brass bezel surround to the 12" convex painted dial signed 'Lindey, Bristol' with blued steel hands. A side door and an opening bottom door. Fine quality brass inlaid decorations. An 8-day duration timepiece fusee mechanism. Circa 1830.

Thomas Lindey of Bristol is recorded in A J Moores 'The Clockmakers of Bristol ' book as working from 1815-1841 at Redcliffe Street.

Height 25" / 63 cms Width 14" / 37 cms Depth 6 1/2 " / 16 cms.
