Light Mahogany Chamfer Top Bracket Clock %%alt5%%

An imposing light, solid mahogany bracket antique clock, with a quarter chiming ting tang movement. The classic styled case has a chamfered top, chamfered corners and an ogee moulded base. The sides have pierced brass side frets, the silvered dial has a thick bevel edge glass and is engraved with the original retailer, "Lund & Blockley, 42 Pall Mall,London". The original movement sounds the quarters on two gongs and the hours on one. The movement is stamped by the maker GV, Gay Vicarino, it also has a patented pendulum starter, by Lourdel.
