Large still life painting in oil on canvas dated 1930. An impressive arrangement of chrysanthemums in a silver vase. Stood on a table with books, draped cloth and a framed picture in the background. Nicely textured treatment of the flower petals and well painted reflections in the jug. Signed A.LeTorey and dated 1930 in the lower right hand corner of the canvas. Some crazing to the surface of the paintwork otherwise good condition, presented as a found, unframed on a simple wooden stetcher.
