Antique 18th Century Georgian crossbanded oak coffer or mule chest.
Solid and strong, with no loose joints. Full of age, character and charm.
Would look great in the right location! The drawer slides freely.
Overall maximum dimensions: 152cmW x 60cmD x 86cmH (internally 142cmL x 50cmW x 49cmH).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. The locks are missing. There are historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure (to be expected with period oak). There have been historic alterations to the lid and some decorative losses, but this piece is full of age/charm, decorative, strong and functional.
