Impressively proportioned 19th.c. woven tapestry panel dated 1853. Framed to almost 6 feet wide. Depicting Christ at the Marriage at Cana, beautifully worked in bright woolwork tapestry. Presented in the original heavy card mount and gilt frame. Identified on the mount as having been produced for the Augustine Convent of Lorettes and dated 1853. Minor wear to the frame.
