A Noticeably Large 19th Century Pocket, Travel Barometer.

The barometer with a bevelled glass, and rotating cursor dial for altitude, surrounding the central silvered dial, engraved for barometric pressure, and weather indication 'RAIN, CHANGE, FAIR'. The whole housed in a gilt brass body, with a loop top. The barometer with the original velvet and silk lined Moroccan leather case.

Date circa 1870.
