King Kong
The original 1933 King Kong movie was the first to use a combination of small models and animatronics to bring a major character to life. The results were so shocking that several scenes had to be censored and it established a genre that eventually led to Jaws and Jurassic Park. This huge, limited edition (75/150) silkscreened poster was created to celebrate the showing of the original 1933 version of King Kong at the Alamo Drafthouse cinema in Texas. A striking iconic movie image signed by the poster artist Wes Winship and professionally framed using museum quality acid-free materials. Item No. 0030.
