We are offering this pretty oil on board of a blue pottery jug with a mixture of purple and white pansies, with a couple of smaller purple violas. The painting is signed in the lower right hand corner by the artist Kay James. Unfortunately, we have been unable to find any information about her online and our reference books only cover up to the early 20th Century.

The painting is framed in a 1 7/8" green painted and gilt frame. It will be supplied wired and ready to hang.

Medium: Oils on board

Condition: Very good. The surface is clean and well varnished and there is no paint loss or craquelure. The frame is in good condition very with minor wear from use, but very acceptable to hang.
