Jules Richard Le Taxiphote with glass slides
A stereo classeur, mahogany cased and has approx 300 pictures.
This French example was made by the precision instrument maker Jules Richard and was called a 'Taxiphote'. Richard first patented the design in 1893 but this is a later type of the Taxiphote, known as the 'Taxiphote Opitcal Model' which had a re-loadable cartridge holding 25 different images. The 'Optical Taxiphote' placed individual stereo slides into the field of view before returning them to a Bakelite tray.
This is in superb condition and good working order.
The pictures are mostly of a motor tour of Italy including the Italian Alps, Venice and numerous fishing villages. There are pictures of glaciers, fishermen, local people and lots of buildings.so quite a good mix!
There are 13 trays each with around 25 slides so approx 300 slides (some are missing, some are broken.).

For UK deliveries we use Royal Mail 2nd class or Parcelforce 48 and always signed for and always fully insured
Sending parcels abroad we use parcel2go, we always fully insure each parcel and use signed for delivery.

RETURNS...
We will gladly accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the item is not as described or broken in transit.
