Jacobean style oak longcase clock with eight day movement chiming on nine tubular gongs, the brass dial with subsidiary chime/silent indicator to top left corner and St. Michaels/Whittington/Westminster chime selection dial to top right corner, the silvered chapter ring with Roman hour numerals framing a matt centre with subsidiary seconds, all cornered with putti, crown and scroll spandrels, the hood with carved foliate frieze, above a glazed door flanked by barley twist columns with Ionic capitals, the rectangular door with lions mask and glazed panels on a panelled base and bun feet
