Outstanding 18th century mahogany inlaid brass face eight day grandfather antique clock by Ste'pierfsene London a delightful swan-neck pediment original finial and reeded columns to the hood. The arched brass dial movement is of typical London manufacture being five pillar construction and eight day duration, striking the hours on a bell, strike/silent dial in the arch with date and seconds dials. Makers name Str'pierfsene London nicely engraved on a plaque attached to the dial. The elegant and attractive slim case having a long door, boxwood stringing and reeded quarter columns. It stands on a plinth base and is in good working order.

A wonderful example, beautifully designed and crafted.
