Impressive American drop dial wall clock
This is a really super quality American drop dial wall antique clock, circa 1900
The case is beautifully made with fine marquetry inlay and the scrolling case to the bottom
The antique clock movement has been dismantled, cleaned and overhauled, so it runs very well, keeping good time and also, being a 2 roll drop dial, you get the chime to the hour and also the half hour
The clock has a fantastic, mellow deep "gong"
Very good order and a very decorative clock
Measuring:
32'' / 81cm high
17'' / 43cm maximum width
5'' / 12.5cm depth
A simple clock to hang as it is not a heavy case. You just need a good flat wall ideally, or if you have a stone wall, you'll need to settle it so it can run steady
