We are delighted to offer for sale an exceptional and rare Torsion antique clock by the respected French maker , Claude Grivola ,manufactured at the very first part of the 20th century which is in the most wonderful condition and in perfect working order.
Please study the images which can explain far more than I can in words but suffice to say that I have never seen a better example of a European Torsion antique clock. This item is much better in real life and prospective buyers are encouraged to view the clock
The 4 1/2 inch decorated porcelain dial bears the makers trademark and the fully serviced year duration movement is in perfect working order.
The revolving pendulum is very pleasing in and virtually silent in operation as opposed to the fast ticking of normal mantle antique clocks.
The very impressive ormlou case is heavily decorated with champleve enamel.
I am always loathe to call any item of this age as "mint condition" but this clock is as close as it gets . I will certainly satisfy the most discerning client.
