Antique 18th Century Georgian oyster laburnum and burr walnut chest of drawers with later alterations and 19th Century stand.

This is a lovely chest, that is full of age, charm and character.

No loose joints and the oak lined drawers slide freely.

Good shape and proportions.

Oh so very rare, with a great colour and amazing veneers....has the wow factor.

Full of age charm and character.

The chest lifts off the base for transport.

Overall maximum dimensions 93cmW x 54cmD x 103.5cmH.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested. Later handles (hard to spot faithful replacements). Some historic cracks, but all are old, stabilized and wax filled. Lots of veneer repairs and imperfections as one would expect from a piece of this age.....one word 'magnificent'. There are some historic extinct woodworm, that we have treated for good measure.
