A Large Country Oak Dresser Base
The dresser is an 18th Century piece, which would not have had the traditional shelved top we find on more modern pieces, there are no signs of there ever having been one
The dresser is a wonderful blonde colour it has a 1” thick planked counter top with a moulded edge, beneath there is a bank of three drawers and a shelved on either side
This attractive dresser is soundly constructed it has no loose joints or wobbles, it has heavy panelled doors, the brass handles are all original, there is shrinkage crevice on the top and the top bows slightly, it has not been touched up and is in Original condition
