Antique Georgian 18C mahogany tallboy chest on chest of drawers.
This is a lovely chest, that is full of age, charm and character.

Solid strong and heavy...splits into two halves for transport.

No loose joints and the oak lined drawers slide freely (some marks inside as is to be expected)..

Rare, with a great colour and best patina....has the wow factor.

Has the original ormolu handles and keyhole liners.

Overall maximum dimensions 119cmW x 56cmD x 183cmH (91cm bottom, 92cm top).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested. There are historic extinct woodworm holes (expected for 18C furniture), that we have treated for good measure.
