A good quality Bristol Georgian longcase clock. A swan neck hood pediment with brass finial. Brass capped corinthium hood columns. A slim case with typical Bristol features. Satinwood inlays and chamfered trunk sides. A superb painted dial with original gold leaf. Peach and floral corners and conch shell to the arch, date and seconds dials. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours on a bell.

Edward Jones worked at Broadmead and Griffin Lane from 1815-1836. He is documented in AJ Moores' 'Bristol Clockmakers' book.
