Georgian Irish silver dinner fork Dublin 1801


A superb Georgian heavy gauge Irish silver dinner fork hallmarked Dublin 1801 by William Ward. The fork bears an heraldic shield slightly engraved to the top of the spoon terminal.
This is an exceptional fork, a lovely item of Dublin silver! It is heavy and very thick and feels lovely when held in the hand. It is also in superb antique collector's condition.
Hallmarks: On the back are the very clear and crisp hallmarks for Dublin 1801, along with the silver maker's mark: William Ward.
Measurements: Length: 19 cm
