Georgian Flight Period Worcester Teacup and Saucer


We have for sale a lovely Flight Worcester teacup and saucer.
The tea bowl and saucer are of a wrythen form and they are decorated with a gilt floral design in cobalt blue and gilt on a white ground. The base of both the cup and the saucer carry the Worcester open crescent mark.
The teacup is approximately 2 & 1/2 inches (6.3cm) high and the saucer is approximately 5 & 1/3 inches (13.5cm)in diameter. The teacup and saucer date from approximately 1790 and are both in a good antique condition with no cracks or repairs but there is the usual wear to the gilt of the pointed edges of the rim.
