George III Style Mahogany Grandmother Clock by D.E
Circa 1870, George III style mahogany grandmother antique clock by D. E. Norrie, Leith. With classic horn top and foliate carving, there are fluted columns with gilt brass capitals either side of a silvered brass face engraved with the makers label. The case is typical of Edinburgh antique clocks with long, narrow quarter panels and pilasters, and finishing on bracket feet with a shaped apron. Serviced and running.
