Superb quality late 19th.c. George II style mahogany corner armchair c.1880. Unusually tall curved backrest with a carved cresting rail, very attractive pierced trellis backsplats and outswept arms on turned supports. Loose seat pad freshly upholstered in a leaf pattern flat weave fabric. Raised on carbriole legs with ball and claw feet and a carved acanthus leaf detail to the front centre leg. Joined with turned and carved cross stretchers. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
Dimensions: width 33″, depth 24″, height 46″.
