A William IV period twin fusee bracket/table antique clock of smaller proportions by famous makers Frodsham of London. A mahogany case with an arched and scrolled pediment. Well carved case sides with choice flame mahogany veneerd. A cast brass bezel and circular painted dial signed 'Frodsham Gracechurch Street, London'. Brass 'moon' hands. A sound fretted back door. An 8-day duration double fusee mechanism striking the hours on a bell. Engraved 'Frodsham London' to the back plate. Pull cord repeating.

The Frodsham family of clockmakers are very noted and were The Keeper of Her majesty's antique clocks at Buckingham Palace. They produced fine clocks including chronometers. This example dates to 1835-40 and they worked at Gracechurch Street from 1822-49.
