A small attractive French timepiece mantel antique clock in a Louis XV style. It has a waisted shaped case with applied gilt brass acanthus leave decoration with a top cartouche. It has a convex glass with a white enamel dial signed by the original retailer, Maple of Paris. It has an 8 day movement with a lever platform and is stamped Maple & Co 84364. (France, c. 1880)
