French Boulle Mantel Clock
A good quality French boulle tortoiseshell mantel antique clock. Well cast ormolu case mounts and inlaid brass to the front and sides of the case. A gilt dial with floral decoration to the centre and individual enamel cartouches, with blue Roman numerals to each. A viewing aperture with a sunburst pendulum on show. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell stamped 'GV', numbered 20379 to both the mechanism and the pendulum. Circa 1875.
