A most decorative French eight day striking antique clock, circa 1875. The eight day movement striking the full hours and half hours contained in a beautiful case, surmounted by a flying cherub holding a flaming torch and garland, over a porcelain dial. Further decorated with a cherub holding a garland within Roman numerals. Ht 41.5, W 28, D 16 cms. Frank Craig Antiques established 1972, with 50 years in the antique trade.
