Frederick William Watts C19th Pencil Drawing
Artist - Frederick William Watts (1800-1870), a Victorian landscape painter. Exhibited at the Royal Academy 1821-1860.
Title - Clearing Dock, Dover Harbour
Medium - Pencil drawing with grey wash, heightened with white on grey paper.
Details - Titled in pencil on the bottom of the drawing. No visible signature. There is a label on the back of the frame for Sanders of Oxford with all the relevant details on. The picture was purchased in their 5th exhibition in 1972 for £18. We have the original catalogue and can supply photocopies of the relevant pages on request. The picture is mounted and framed in a more modern frame.

Condition Overall in good bright condition. The pictue is slightly wavy in the mount. The frame and mount are in good clean condition. The frame has some scuffing, wear and has some small chips.
