A fine quality one month duration Biedermeier timepiece Viennese Regulator, circa 1855.
The beautifully figured rosewood case inlaid throughout with boxwood stringing, surmounted with an ebonised carved pediment with matching carvings to the base.
The one piece enameled dial with Roman numerals with gilded piecrust bezel.
The fine quality hook on one month duration movement with deadbeat escapement and maintaining power
Polished brass cased weight, with ornate spoked pulleys, polished brass bob pendulum (front and back) with wooden rod.
Extremely finely fretted blued steel hands of "beetle and poker" design All of our clocks have been sympathetically restored and have been expertly vetted for originality and good working order. All clocks purchased from us are guaranteed for two years.
