Artist - Engraved by William Ward (1766-1826), after the original by Richard Corbould (1776-1826)
Title - Morning: The Fisherman's Departure
Details - Engraving. Published by B.F. Scott in 1799. Uncoloured, except for the boy's coat. Mounted, framed and glazed in a more modern wooden frame.
Condition - Overall in good condition. The print has been cut along the margins. Some age-related creasing and significant discolouration, and there are a few spots of foxing (brown spotting). The frame has some knocking, scuffing and wear as might be expected.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
Image Size - 60.5cm by 45.5cm
Frame - 78.5cm by 66.5cm, 4cm deep.
