Foundry Pattern Wooden Mould Cannon wooden wooden carving %%alt5%%
Wooden foundry pattern mould with original red paint for a cannon. I believe it to be from around 1940s maybe later - it was a barn find. It's made in a inch think plywood frame secured with old slotted screws with solid wooden sections carved into the cannon shape. This was made to be used and is heavy and strong. It has signs of use but is in good condition. This is a great statement piece and would look stunning either hung on a wall or simply leant against it.
