Artist - Franz Joseph Mannskirsch (1768-1830)
Title - A View in St. James's Park of the Horse Guards & St. Paul's, Taken from Buckingham House
Details - Antique hand-coloured print. Probably eighteenth century in date. Engraved by H. Schutz. Beneath the print are the artist's and engraver's name, the title and the publishing details - 'London Published Jan 1 1798 at Ackermann's Gallery No. 101 Strand'. The print has a modern mount and frame.
Condition - Overall in fair condition. The print is quite badly discoloured and has some foxing, creasing and wear. There is a heavy crease to one of the bottom corners and what looks to be a closed tear at the top. There are some grubby marks. The mount and frame are both in good clean condition. The frame has some light wear around the edges.
The approx. measurements are as follows
Colour Image - 41.5cm by 25.5cm
