The £25 coin is in a plastic cover.
One of 20,000 coins struck.
Each coin weighs 150 grams and is 65mm in diameter. (Boxed weight 251 grams).
The obverse features a new effigy of Elizabeth II approved for use from 1st January 1985. This commemorative coin is the first on which it appears.
The reverse design is SS Great Britain which had a close association with the Falkland Islands.
Coin is complete in its plastic cover, original red box, note with showing where it was sealed and the original outer plastic Royal Mint packet which was opened for the first time to take these photos for this listing.
