Elizabethan Handwritten Vellum Indenture dated 20th November 1599 with 2 good Seals.
The Seals are of Edmund and Peter Withipool, an old and established English Family. Sir Edmund Withripool (Withipoll) had built and resided at Christchurch Mansion in Ipswich, Suffolk. He bought the land after Henry VIII's Dissolution of the Monasteries . The Withipool Family had Manors and Lands in various locations and were London & Bristol Merchants.

The Indenture is between Edmund & Peter Withipool, of Ipswich on the one part and Robert Lyoniwood of Charing, in the County of Kent, on the other.
