A good quality Edwardian solid mahogany musical longcase clock. The case is in an 18th Century style, having a carved swan neck pediment with a central cartouche, reeded side columns, and a break arch hood with side windows. The long door has glazed astragal beading and bevel edge glass. The 8 day movement has a brass dial which has a tune selector for either Westminster, St. Michael or Whittington Chimes, together with a strike silent feature, a silvered chapter ring and brass spandrels. It has three brass weights , a wood rod and brass pendulum.Made by Hans Winterhalder of Wurtemburg and numbered We have been established since 1978, dealing in and restoring most antiques, specialising in clocks and furniture. We have our own workshops where we carry out specialist restoration work.-
