Fine Edwardian ‘Faux Tortoiseshell’ arch top mantel clock inlaid with silver line stringing, standing on silver bun feet with silver bezel.

Enamel dial with Roman numerals and original ‘moonpoise’ steel hands signed ‘John Bagshaw and Son, Liverpool’.

Eight day French movement with platform escapement. C.1905

John Bagshaw and Sons were trading from the early 1860’s to the 1930’s creating fine pieces of silver and luxury items for the aristocracy.
