Edwardian Mahogany and Inlay Striking Mantel Clock
A solid mahogany mantel antique clock dating to the early 20th Century. It has a break arch to case with a pagoda top and five polished brass finials. The case has quarter side pillars with brass capitals and brass bun feet. The front panel is inlaid with boxwood stringing. It has a convex glass and an enamel dial with Roman numerals and moon hands. The French 8 day movement sound the hours and halves on a gong.
Current Condition

20.00cm wide 35.50cm high 12.00cm deep (7.87 inches wide 13.98 inches high 4.72 inches deep) We have been established since 1978, dealing in and restoring most antiques, specialising in clocks and furniture. We have our own workshops where we carry out specialist restoration work.-
