Early 18C Figured Walnut 5 Drawer Chest on Later Stand. The overhanging top having O.G moulding below and crossbanded edge with two inlaid bands around two veneered panels. The two short and three long solid walnut lined drawers framed with half round mouldings and having feather banded edges, brass 'Pearl' drop handles and cast brass escutcheons. The base of chest having a thumb moulded edge and the sides having mirrored veneers with crossbanded edges. The base with moulded edge and on cabriole legs with club feet.

This chest was formerly in Blickling Hall, Norfolk.
