A French brass cased carriage antique clock by noted maker Drocourt. A gilded mask to the enamel dial with blued steel 'moon' hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Push Button repeating. Numbered

ALFRED DROCOURT a good quality French CARRIAGE CLOCK Carriage clock with repeat mechanism by this famous maker, in full working order.
Contained within its good 'Corniche' case, the 8-day movement retains its original platform lever escapement and is numbered (25776) to both movement and case.

Recently fully serviced in Full working order and guaranteed at least two years.

Please note... There is NO damage to the Case just has a couple of small discoloration marks that should polish out,
Glass... All glass is Beveled in perfect condition without damage.
Dial is totally free from and chips,scratches or damage
As you will note, This clock is supplied with a key.

Drocourt worked producing carriage antique clocks until about 1920, his last clock being numbered 35,233. This clock can therefore be dated some twenty or thirty years earlier, probably in the 1885.
