Delightful Heals garden bench with lovely words
Delightful Arts & Craft garden bench in teak retailed by Heals.
Inscribed to the back are the words
The kiss of the sun for pardon.
The song of the birds for mirth.
One is nearer to God's heart in a garden
Than anywhere else on earth.
The bench has a beautiful covering of lichen and has aged beautifully. A strip of metal has been attached to the back and to the base of the back of the seat to give it extra strength.
Now firm to sit on. A small slice is missing from the front left arm. The two decorative brackets are slightly loose.
Height 93cms. Width 152cms. Depth 59cms. Seat height 38cms.
