A terrific pair of Victorian English postal scales made from a shaped Mahogany base standing on four original turned bun feet. The brass pans are beautifully shaped with exquisite engraved decoration.

The brass beehive set of weights sit in a cut-out section to the front. Some of these sets came without the little topper weight to the very top, but I like the look when they have the little topper so I have had one made to crown the top.

Dating to around 1880, the set remains in superb condition. 10" x 6" x 4 1/4" tall.
