This is a compact antique boot scraper. An English, cast iron door or porch scrape by A Kenrick & Sons, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.

Fascinating Georgian scrape
Displays a desirable aged patina
Cast iron in good order
Presented in a good, consistent graphite finish

Raised upon a lyre shaped mount, the scrape is 11cm (4.25") wide
Deep sided base with gently rolled edge
Maker’s mark to scrape reads A.K. & Sons
Secondary mark to the base reads A. Kenrick & Sons, no. 419
Base cast without bolt downs, can be added to individual requirements

This is a wonderfully compact antique scrape by Archibald Kenrick & Sons of the West Midlands, England. Presenting rich grey tones and pleasingly shaped, this attractive boot scrape will grace any doorway or reception porch. Delivered polished and ready for the home entrance.
