A scarce 1848 second pattern Brass hilted bayonet for the Brunswick Rifle.The blade has some staining patches but has no pitting and is for its age in very good condition. There is no scabbard. Variations of this bayonet were issued to Constabulary including the Hong Kong Police and examples were being used by Loyal Sikh regiments in the 1880s.Markings on the blade if it has any should de-note where it was used. Post cost will be twelve pounds. You must be over the age of 18 years to buy this weapon.
