Large and Heavy Edwardian Brass Desk Magnifying Glass and Paper Weight,
Early 1900s.
This magnifier was originally possibly used in a marine compass (or magic lantern), was rescued and turned into this useful desk top accessory.
It unscrews for polishing to reveal two large convex lenses with convex faces to inside and flat on top. Please see photos.
