Black Forest Alarm Clock clock mantel alarm %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
An oak cased Black Forest mantel antique clock with an alarm function. The case has been made with a pair of architectural columns either side of the dial with a pediment to the top. The dial is silvered in colour with with black Roman numerals, it also has a window to display if the alarm is activated or not. To the centre of the face is a secondary dial which is turned to set the alarm. The clock has an eight-day mechanical movement which has been fully serviced and is in full working order. The alarm sounds on two chrome bells within the case. Made by PH&S Company Germany. EW-33 circa 1900.
