Attractive Antique Solid Oak Office Desk Chair
An attractive antique desk chair. We date this chair to the early 20th century.
The chair sits on shapely legs to the front and square section splayed legs to the rear with a double H stretcher.
The rear of the chair has a spar back with a deep top bar and shapely armrests.
The seat has a padded area upholstered in a red fabric finished with a stud detail.
The chair has a height of 33.5" (85cm) with a backrest height of 16.5" (42cm), an overall depth of 20" (51cm), a seat height of 17.5" (45cm), a seat width of 18" (46cm) and a seat depth of 17.5" (45cm).
This attractive chair remains in good solid condition with only minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage. There is some wear to the fabric including a small tear at the front. There is a little play on the seat and arms but it is nice and firm to sit in. The frame has some minor wear including some staining to the bottom of the legs.
This remains a very stylish and elegant chair. That is supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest for many years to come.
