A small deep red chinoiserie decorated mantel antique clock, in the style of an English bracket antique clock dating to around 1920. It has a caddy top with brass corner finials and an embossed carrying handle. The detail depicts Chinese scenes, although the case is of English make and decoration. It has an 8 day French lever platform movement and the enamel dial is signed by the original retailers Asprey, who were Jewellers to The Royal Family at this time. We have been established since 1978, dealing in and restoring most antiques, specialising in clocks and furniture. We have our own workshops where we carry out specialist restoration work.-
