A Splendid mantelpiece antique clock ART DECO - signed P. SEGA "NYMPH AND GOAT" - consisting of a pendulum and two braziers - topics iron art patina black - silver - gilt bronze - marble.
Admire the charming scene beautiful young woman with delightful smiling face - vine leaves in a crown in her hair - goat in bold face.
A very high quality of sculpture - very fine - and a light patina. The clock - complete with movement of origin - and work strikes the hours and halves. Complete with key and pendulum.
Signed P. SEGA incised in stone - ART DECO period - 1920/1930.
PIERRE SEGA late nineteenth / early twentieth - great and famous artist and sculptor of the French Art Deco period. Produced lamps, antique clocks, sculptures mainly white metal - rare bronzes. Very sought after for his very creative themes made with taste and flair.
