This lovely antique easy chair dates from approx. the 1930s and has elements of the art deco style. The chair has an over-upholstered low seat with a rounded front edge, an over-upholstered back rest, and the tops of the arms are also over-upholstered. The fronts of the arms are carved with ram's heads, and the arms have shaped nnd carved wooden supports with lower tramline decoration. We believe the arms to be constructed from walnut, although please note that we are not 100% sure of the wood type. The upholstery is more modern than the chair, but does have some age.
