Antique Watercolour Grey Partridges Eleanor Hutton
This is a delightful antique watercolour and chalk painting of grey partridges in landscape mounted in a good Georgian rosewood frame with tasteful inner gilt slip.
The painting is in excellent order and is in lovely muted shades, signed to the reverse by the artist Eleanor Hutton and dated 1842. The subtle chalk background gives a soft misty feel to the work with the stately home depicted in the background. The picture is a nice size measuring 30 cms by 25 cms overall, including the frame which has a really nice rich colour and good patina.
